im getting tired of fiberglass

RE: im getting tired of fiberglass
I don't know man.
If it's the paint cracking, then why does it do it only on the front?
Besides, clear coats don't need flex agents anymore.
Because of EPA standarts, catalysts don't get as hard as it used to from a few years back.
Even 2K primers (hi-build) are not as good as quality as it was.[8D]
Anyway, I won't argue with anyone since I can't see your car for myself in person.

I think they'll understand the need to satisfy the customer.
They've been there before.

TruFiber wouldn't do anything to help out VA. Stang when he had his hood issue.

I would have assumeed that if any of you had, you would have already mentioned it but....has anyone had this issue with the Venom hood?
Is it possible that this is just inherent to your style hood brended? I'd like to hear/see if anyone else had the same issues with your hood brended. That would certainly be more indicative of a style of hood problem and not just an individual case, but I certainly understand your fustration and disappointment at finding itmessed upalready. I had a car about 15 years ago that had a fiberglass front end on it. Biggest mistake I ever had was putting that on that car. Within a year or so I was driving down the highway and someone ran over a big piece of tire ahead of me. It was thrown up in the air and came down right infront of me. I hit it with my front end and while it didnt break it spiderweb cracked the hell out of the piece.I ended up selling the car not that long after...I saw the writing on the wall having a fiberglass kit installed the car and the troubles it wasgonna bring me. I'm just surprised to hear your having that kind of problem with a hood.
