Default Value of a 2006 GT

I am looking at a 2006 MustangGT at a dealership. I have looked the car over and is in great condition. Just under 20,000 miles, SLP Loudmouth exhaust, 20in chrome wheels, hurst shifter. Still smells new. From the looks of the wheels and paint, it was garaged and well taken care of. The paint looks flawless. They are asking 20,900.00, whats a fair price?

Go to the Kelley Blue Book website:
http://www.kbb.com/

Type in the information pertaining to that particular vehicle, and you should get a pretty close estimate of what it's worth.

I did do that, but thanks for the suggestion. I was just wondering what you guys thought. KBB doesn't figure the mods into the price. I understand the mods hold very little value when selling a car, but they do have value to me.

I think its worth about 16 - 17k.

Pay more then that and you are getting ripped.

Funny you should ask...I just bought my 2006 Mustang GT Premium Coupe last week for $21K but I bought it from a private seller, so no sales tax or dealership add ons...Mine had 17,000 miles, 5-speed, 20" rims staggered fit, JBA cat-back exhaust, GT500 rear spoiler, tinted windows, rear magnetic black out panel and was in EXCELLENT condition...You should try to find a private seller, thats just my personal opinion...Good luck and once you buy one you wont regret it...You can check out these threads for my car info and pics, enjoy...
