Wanna say Thanx to Mustang Forums
Ok Its time I gave back.....
I bought an all black08 GT/CS 2 months ago...(traded in my lexus...I must be getting younger)Found your sight and my wife never forgave me..
She(wife) asked .."if you have to do all this stuff to a new car, wht did you buy it??" wow what a chick question....
Anyway based on info in this site I put on some Borla stingers nice...neighbors woke up and asked me how old I was now...
Then after way too much research I bought the C&L truflow with the SCT tuner and tunes from Doug @ BamaChips..
he's the king of Automatics...and all you guys out there who poo poo Autos over manuals....Ive had4 speedson 60's muscle cars...I dare you to be able to shift as fast as this can now... yes it chirps in 2nd and sometimes third...remember if your spining your not moving....anyway,... wow its a new car the bang for the buck is fantastic... and its reversable for warranty...
I have only installed the Tourque tune so far ...today will swap it out for the race tune only cuz I can,,,,dieing to find out what that will do..
Oh yeah daughter bought me side window louverspainted ...looks great...
Next step maybe some lowering Eibachs an x pipe and a 3.73 rear end....
This car is way too much fun... haven't had an american car in... well way too many years.....and insurance?? wow was expecting to get killed...$810 a YEAR.... see there are benifits to being 50....I guess crash parts are cheap on american cars...
Anywaycould nothave done all this without you guys and I promise to start giving back to this site intead of just taking from now on....
Having way too much fun......cept for having to polish it every weekend....Thanx again

welcome aboard, I'm almost 60 and enjoying the sh*t out of my 06 GT. Got the Bama 91 race and torque tune myself with a auto. I find that for my 8 mile commute the torque tune is better than the race tune, race tune is great at the track and freeway.
