Ok basically i just pulled my stang out i purchased this winter.2006 mustang GT auto-tranny (bone stock).
Is it my car or what? I floor the gas on startup and she just hooks like hell takes off like a rocket but i cant smoke the tires !?!?
Is this normal for auto-trannys ?
Just wanted to know if something was up or do all the autos hook like that , or is it that basically a bone stock GT wont/cant smoke the tires on a take off ?
Will a cai and a (bama/brenspeed) tune make this possible ?

just turn off the tcs

A 93 race tune and cai would def. take care of this problem. Tires will break loose in upper gear shifts also.

The Tune will help.........but are you aware of the Traction Control Switch??

Thanks for the replys guys, im worried maybe i have a power-loss or something. Yes i have taken the TCS off and mashed the gas .
Not a chirp, she just bolts like hell. She has been stored with same full tank of gas since December soo im wondering if its bad gas ?
Anyhow il keep ya posted if i figure out how come she aint burning the rubber.

get a cai+tune that will def. make you lay some rubber on the ground.

You don't have loss of power... My car acted the same when it was stock, and now with my conservative list of mods, I just left a 05 CLK55 AMG behind me, well it was close but I got him...
