Whipple and Roush Supercharger, Install
I know one of the BIGGEST debates on the board that i'v seen is Superchargers.. Who here on the boards installed a Roush, Whipple, or both?? How big of a pain in the butt are they to install?? I'v read both the installs.. Both seem to be a pain.. Nextly, my second question.. Is it worth my money to get a SC when i'm not gonna take it to the track, just to keep the locals in check??

RE: Whipple and Roush Supercharger, Install
I personally have not installed any of the above, but from the research done I can tell that Whipple is obviously a better bang for the buck than Roush is. Definitely worth the money though whether you go to the track or not. I haven't been on the track, not planning on going to one anytime soon, but am plannin on going S/C this coming December if everything goes well at work.

O.K. i'v made up my mind.. I'm going Whipple.. Main reason is i don't like to drill on my motor and cut on motor parts.. I didn't see anything like that in the Whipple Installation manual.. Here's my dumb question..
What's the diff between:
05+ 4.6L Mustang GT - 24V HO (10-12 PSI) and
05+ 4.6L Mustang GT- 24V HO Tuner Kit

you need the HO kit w/ 10 psi pulley, not the 12 thats too much boost on a stock bottom end. the HO kit comes w/ the 3.375" pulley which is 10#; the 12# is 3.125". the tuner kit is more for custom jobs.
