from one who owns a v6 vert... I say get it, I see bone stock gt's around here that my car looks tons better than... as you said, 80% of folks dont know a gt from a pony package vert... Just the other day, a 80 year old black guy came up to me and told me that my car was the most beautiful mustang he ever saw... I have a tune in mine and its faster than older model gt's as it is.

Get the V6, it'll be fine for what you are looking to use it for. Get some duals for the sound and be done. My car looks and sounds better than any car I've seen in my area, I know there's a 427roush around here somewhere but i havent seen it before. And If you ever do need a little more power just get a CAI/Tune to wake the car up for like $600 more.

Do you need to be convinced by us?
Would you be asking the same question if you were buying a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry which also have different engine choices?
I believe that the sixers will surpass the legal speed limit but need help from sixer owners to confirm that????????
get what you want. If going topless is your main concern then focus on that. There are always people that think only a GT is a Mustang and there are those that think only a GT500 is a mustang.
When does it stop?
Do vette owners get into that with respect to the C6 vs Z06 ?

From what you've said the V6 convertible sounds like it'd be ideal for you. Yes, you can always get something better, but there's a difference for paying and getting something you don't need and paying and getting something that's adequate and suits your needs.
Like me... I'm not power hungry. I do like to make slight improvements to horsepower here and there, but I know I don't need ridiculous amounts of power. So I have more fun doing exterior mods to my car. It's plenty quick stock, plus the exhaust and K&N help. So if you feel that a V6 vert is right for you, then go for it. It's a good car, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it plenty without any mods.

Ya I think it will be fine for me. I might throw on a dual exhuast just for fun and some other items to dress it up a bit.
