I've been wanting to add a strut tower braceas a fairly inexpensive way to stiffen up the front of the car in turns. Doesn't the engine when free reving or under heavy load hit the brace? I've seem them installed up close and there is hardly any clearance between the plenum cover and the strut brace.

For those of you who have the braces you listed and the hood liner still installed.... does it rub / touch?

I heard something about mounting the plenum cover lower than it is... anyone know how?

Yep. That's what I did. The rear mounting feet of the plenum cover are designed to just kinda cap on top of the fuel rail studs. If you mount the plenum cover under the fuel rail stud, instead of capping it, you will gain some clearance.....
