I really wish I could, but the cobra r's don't go any wider than a 20x8.5 Trust me, if I could go with a wider version of the rims I have, I would! That's what makes this decision so hard for me....I really like the rims I have, but want something wider out back.
I would look around and see if you could get those widened. Those rims look great. I cant find them anywhere I would love to have those on my car in 18x8.5 and 18x10.
I have looked everywhere and had no luck finding a cobra r that is 20x10
what hes saying is you can have the wheels u already have widened....they cut them in the middle and add a couple inches by welding in some more metal

There are companies that will widen rims.. If you're REALLY married to the Cobra R's, you might want to consider it.

Best of luck...

If you want really like something and no one makes it, then you make it yourself.

What it sounds like to me is you haven't even made up your own mind yet, and are looking for us to do it for you.

Good luck with that, it usually doesn't work out so well. It's your car, do what YOU want to it, and don't worry about the opinions of a bunch of forum members thatyou'll never meet.

I'd say the Boss 336 wheels, its Halibrand-style wheel. They are not as common. Here are some pics of my car.

Thanks exx, I appreciate your thoughts on this subject....I haven't made up my mind yet...I just went down to the shop this afternoon to look at them in person. On one hand I actually liked what I saw, but on the other I was questioning how they would look on my car, because I have had the cobra r's on my car since day 1.

I'll end up doing something regardless of what others say...for me, it's just nice to see the inputs of others to give me an idea of what to expect...if that makes any sense what-so-ever.

Thanks again!!

loots06, those are the wheels, only in gun-metal....Ithink they look very nice. Are yours staggered, if so, what size tire are you running? 255/35 (front) & 285/30 (rear)? Are you happy with their fitment on the car?

I have 255/35 and 285/30 on my Toxics. I am NOT happy with the fitment at stock ride height, the rear wheelwell gap is much too much. I'm thinking about switching to a 305/35 DR strictly for APPEARANCE purposes, the car NEVER sees rain.

I can picture why you are not happy with the fitment as it is currently...mine is lowered somewhat, so I am looking to go with 295/30's. I just wish that Nitto made that tire size. That is why I am going with the Toyo's. Everyone I have talked to, that had lowered cars, recommeded that tire size. And the people that had 285/30's said that if Nittos were made in 295/30's, that's what they would have gone with. Go figure?

I think for me a 305/35 would actually be to much.
