Good advice Joe.
Although Chevy droped fiberglass for SMC with the C4 Vette (84), a custom shop is also a good route
to follow when it comes to galss.

+1 on the shops that have fiberglass experience. I have the GTS also from Tru-fiber and mine had some small stress cracks that needed taken care of.
ok so ill go get some repairs and new headlights repaired at my dad's friends body shop and then go some where else for the hood
so does your hood rattle at highway speeds, ill prolly get hood pins eventually though just wondering if i NEED them with this hood
Mine doesnt rattle, they had to adjust the latch a bit to tighten it up. I have a set of pins but running into problems on where to locate them..

+1 on the hood pins and get all the paint done at once in a professional, fiberglass experienced shop. Go somewhere that works on Corvettes mainly.
Do u think the venom hood will work with these hood pins?
