wierd turn signal problem...
So, I got this weird problem with my left-back turn signal.
Whenever I put the left turn signal on, one bulb turns on, but the other doesn't (our cars use 2 bulbs for turn signals on the back for those who didn't know). But the weird part is that when I press the brake pedal, the bulb DOES light up! [:@] I already changed the bulb to a new one, and still the same problem. Switched bulbs with the other side and still the same problem...
wtf could be wrong?

RE: wierd turn signal problem...
Which bulb on which side if flakey?
Check for the water leak problem by
the passengers side kick panel where
the SJB is that controls the exterior
lighting and turn signals.
The SJB controls each bulb filiment
and that could be the problem.

RE: wierd turn signal problem...
well I checked with my hand and no water was felt...
so I left some napkins tucked in there for a while to see if they absorbed some water and it did not absorb anything...
now I am confused

RE: wierd turn signal problem...
The damage was caused by previous water leakage that has already dried.
The circuit board in the SJB has corroded or the memory chip of the logic
has been damaged. You dont need a wet carpet when the problems start
happening. Corrosion causing damage takes a while to appear.
Pull the carpet back after removing the kick panel and door sill.
Feel the pad for wetness, smell it for mold and check for rust on the floor
pan area directly in front of the passengers side seat.
