hey guys..

some of you know, i ordered a GT500 strut bar and just picked it up from Ford today.. well before i left, i wanted to see how it was going to fit.. well i noticed that it touched the plenu, cover bore resting all the the way on the strut tower bolts..

i thought it was supposed clear the plenum cover and go on w/ no problem.. is somethign wrong here?

all engine bays are different....some towers rub the plunem cover some dont. Same with the underhood covering.....some rub that severely and some dont

mine cleared the plenum cover but rubbed on the hood, i got it for free from a totaled gt500so i just got rid of it since it wasnt working.

Lower the plenum cover.....Mount it below the fuel rail studs, instead of on top......

You can flip it backwards, with the curve facing the cabin. Or use washers.

so i just figured out.. LOLOOLOLOL.. I WAS HOLDING ON BACKWARDS!!!!!!

but it might rub the hood.. so gotta paint it and mount it..
