I'm on my second set of stripes. I did the first set myself. I thought I was being extremely careful but I just wasn't happy with my results. This time I had a local body shop put them on. I'm much happier. Cost all of $100. Well worth it.

If you are asking, its perceivable that you dont have any experience
with installing decals and the like. So, in your case, I would pay a pro.
Best $$ ever spent for correctly placed stripes. A Pro, not some kid
who thinks he can. [:@]

Step 1: Go to body shop.

Step 2: Pick out paint color

Step 3: Say "put them here, here and here"

Step 4: Wait.

Step 5: Pay.

Step 6: Be happy.

Yea, I would leave it upto a professional, that way at least if it didn't come out right, they would be liable.

i have never did any stripes before on a car and last year my uncle and i put 2 10" matte blk stripes on his and it came out great, took about 8hrs with pizza and beer but the hardest part was getting it lined up, once we got going though it was alot faster... i figured like this... you can get the kit for like 130 bucks, the dealer wanted 800 to do the stripes..... so i have 7 trys to get it right. But honestly i love doing the work myself and it was a fun project but you need two sets of hands, if not its just way to hard by yourself. Once i bought my mustang it took 4hrs total, including pizza and beer again along with breaks..
