I'm not so sure he thought I was so cute after I kept checking in with him to see when he would finally get it done!!! (I am so patient, I hear!! ) Took him three weeks, which wasn't bad at all, but it just seemed like forever!!!

I'm thinking it was more of just an underestimation perhaps, on his part, for the amount of work involved??

After hearing some of these other figures, I am thinking I did ok!
I'm thinking we need to see pictures of the car AND you to be certain of that.

Bryan
I've never claimed to be cute.....not once, but I do think my car looks pretty decent!!!

Well, you can barely be seen behind your glass, but if your as pretty as your car is, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Car looks great.

Cervini always fit well and they have great quality hoods.
However, their plastic parts, such as duck tails, scoops etc..., are heavily pitted, wave paterns and have busted edges.
So body shops have to correct that and spend extra time, it translate to you in more Dineros.
So true, so true. My car color has tons of metal flake in it as well and from all the work, the paint, and the fact that I got one of the best paint jobs I have seen in a while, it cost me about 5k. I am not saying yours will cost that much, that is just what I paid for a superb paint job and quality body work.

nope mr. bape, the covers dont cover the entire black part, they just cover the actual backing of the mirror part. Plus for 5k, i would hope they painted the mirrors haha

Yeah the mirrors were sanded, primed, and painted. The stripes are painted as well.

Out of that 5K you only see about 3.
Not fair, but the preping is what makes the paint job.

Don't skimp on materials. It cost me 400 just to paint my stripes and I did all the work. Blending your paint to match everything elseis the hard part. Are youpainting stripes because laying them out on the spoiler and getting them to look right is a pain. A lot of body shops will rent there booth if their slow so call around.

nope, im just going to get vinyle stripes so i dont have to worry about that. I dont think it will be a problem painting the parts outside either, i already found a paint store that will mix the paint with flex additive to the factory paint code, and where it was painted because the colors fluctuated at different factories is what he said. He said about 300-500, the kit shipped today so once i get it im going to go around town and get quotes from body shops etc...
