How to remove side mirror(glass)from housing?
Help! Anyone know how to remove the mirror itself from the housing? I got the housings off thedoors already. I'm planning to paint my side mirrors but I need to remove the mirror itself from the housing. I read that all you need to do is pull the mirror off but I tried and I'm afraid to crack the mirror if I put too much force.

Nevermind! I got the mirror off by pulling harder and it popped off. Look what was inside the passenger side mirror housing though! Looks like an oldwasp's nest! WTF!

Push one side all the way so you can stick something flat to pry with.
If you don't have a special plastic pryer, use a big flat screwdriver but put a few lair of tape at the end.
Then pry gently between the glass back and the roundy motor, it will snap off.
Never mind me too then
