lol yeah good thing you chimed in when you did cause im sure the naysayers are asleep right now but will be swarming in the morning, lol.
So how would I get my exact mpg then guys if my dash is way off, fill me in so next time I can try that rather then just getting a comparison between my gear set ups. a few posted above but im not sure if I get it exactly, point form me out please and thx

To calculate Mile per Gallon divide miles driven by gallons used.
Fill up the car and reset your trip odometer. Drive the car. Fill up with gas, and see how much fuel the car takes. Look at the trip odometer, and then take the miles driven, and divide it by the number of gallons you just put in the car.
A question I have is after you got the gears installed, did you have the tune adjusted for the gears? Otherwise the computer MPG will be WAY off.
I will say, with under 1000 miles on my car, I am able to average 26mpg over a whole tank driving to work and back, all back roads. However that isn't a lot of fun

I added a Whipple and can't get over 20mpg, even at steady cruise. I also don't care........because I have POWWA!!
I do notice that 60mph I get worse mpg then 70-75mph...probably because I am lugging the engine a bit (below torque curve) at 60mph.

Are you going by your in dash computer or did you actually fill up before then refill and divide by actual miles driven. I am thinking 32 is not gonna be the real milage, Hell Ive got 373 gears and I did a 300 mile trip (not interstate ) but used cruise and averaged 22.9 for the hole trip.Filled up at one gas station and refilled up at the same gas station. total gas divided by miles driven was 22.9 and I was damn happy with that.
maybe you got the one freak gas mizer.

I took a few pics while cruising with my camera phone for naysayers but next time Im going to make a video clip just for proof, not like I care if people dont believe me but more for the people who arent sure about getting 4:10 cause all of the BS the gear haters post.[8D]

Dude, did you RECALIBRATE your car after the gears. You have to change the it to show the new 4.10's. I am going to call the BS flag on this one cause I know it's not true unless like I said YOU DIDN'T RECALIBRATE your speedo and odometer.
On top of that by no recalibrating you are also gaining about 20% more mileage. So every 10 miles you go your odometer will read 12 miles.
So since google says your trip was around 85 miles your odometer would have read 102. Now do this to a full tank of gas. You will gain 5-8mpg depending on how your driving. I have driven to Miami from Tampa, got about 22mpg with 4.10's.

I'd just like to add that I get a solid 2mpg at wide open throttle. Recorded using the aeroforce gauge which gives you a constant mpg reading instead of an average like the cars computer.

A common mistake is to believe the computer which is now not even able to give you the right numbers after the gear swap. .
