Over kill on my Boost gauge install- FRPP whipple install
I had asked a question yesterday on how to do a bosot gauge install on a whipple. And no more then 5 seconds after posting I remebered the whipple lower intake is already tapped with a input for a boost gauge install.
So as over kill I took some -an 4 ss tubing and ran it from the whipple to install inside the vehicle with this top quality Speed of Sound gauge pod aquired just this week.
I did hit a hicup with the fitting on the frpp gauge being a 5/8 input and all my fittings are -AN.

ummm, yeah,id say that pretty overkill, lol, did you take your fender off just to run that line?i would hjave chose some cheaper vacuum line for sure, lol.
if your dead set on using the braided line, you can still cut it off and clamp it to the back of the gauge with an adaptor, just make sure you wrap the line with tape before you cut or it will get frayed all over the place.

YA I've been lazy.
After 3 weeks of ripping everything on and off the car I just haven't touched the engine much. I got it started and running good, loud and annoying and its fine till I can get past the car show next weekend.
I'm sure it would be a full 5 minutes to install the mSD but I figure i'll handle that when I go to put the CPR rails back on.
But I've got boxes and boxes of SS lines and fittings.
