i have never heard of this either......which is off considering how long the 07s have been out and how often i visit this board

Never heard of anything like this. I don't see why only one bank of cylinders would be affected. If you're having so many problems with your car, you might want to check into lemon laws.

I have almost 20,000 miles on my 07 GT with no problems what so ever.

This car has been a headache for me, first, the bolt comes out of the short throw shifter, 2 weeks to get the bolt in from ford.
This happened to me as well.Fortunately it happened two blocks from the house and the bolt was laying on the trans brace.

Can you say Lemon Law???? Texas law, 24,000 miles or 24 months.....I believe..... and 3 or more of the same issue. Actually Tex is one of the better states for the Lemon Law, just look it up and read the fine print. Sorry about the issues.

well we know the connecting rods and pistonsare powder formed thus not even as strong as cast and far from forged

but till now I hadn't heard of one coming apart like that

maybe the powder forming press was turned down that day

Is this problem only on GT models? I have a 2007 V6 and haven't had any problems yet. I only have 3400 miles on the car though.
