Unpleasant dealer experience

RE: Unpleasant dealer experience
I actually got a call from the service manager of the Ford dealership that I brought my 02 Super Duty in for Warrenty work. I bought it thereand they really piXXed me off. Had a vibration/rattle in the drivetrain. The found out that it was the aluminum cover on the front side of the bellhousing towards the motor. Well there fix was to bend it up the center and put 2 sided tape on it. The survey asked what i thought of the repair. I Said they had Mickey mouse mechanics. At the time they also put a ding in the door and bent thetube step too. After the Service manager reamed me out he hung up on me! I called the GM and gave hima a piece of my mind. Didn't buy my stang from them!

RE: Unpleasant dealer experience
I have had experiences with great dealerships and terrible ones.Despite what you might believe about negative surveys and yelling at service or general managers, the lousy dealers still sell vehicles...a lot of them.Think about all the people who have tried to deal directly withFord consumer relations and got what?????So don't expect the bad dealerships to be running scared of Ford. As a consumer we are screwed. Kinda like buying groceries...how many other places can you go and how differentwill it be? I think bad dealerships know they have us by the ***** and just don't give a ****. Having said that, find a good one, be loyal to them and they will look after you.
