Hmm great points thewarmachine. And the black ones are starting to grow on me. I need to check, are the Shelby GT rims 8.5"?

Yep! 18x8.5

People will tell you that 275 is too wide for that rim, but I don't believe it. One guy is running 285's on the rear with his 18x8.5 bullitts, and it looks great!

Also, the 275/45/18 is about .5" taller than the stock 235/50/18, so it will fill out the wheel well nicer without looking really thick.
