How come so many people go for Off-road X and H pipes?
The reason im asking is, if we have the option of Power adders that are safer for the enviroment, what is the obsession with going with the offroad option?
Im by no means out to save the world but it just makes more sense to have fun with our sport while being considerate.
Before I get flamed which im sure will happen, my technical question is. what is the real benifit to using an offroad pipe over an onroad?

Catted pipes ain't cheap!
I really hope you're not hopping on the government's bandwagon of "save the planet", "be green", "stop global warming".
The planet doesn't need saving, and even if it did, we couldn't do anything to help.

The amount of exhaust coming out of a mustang with O/R pipes is nothing compared to a "big rig" or even a F350 turbo diesel where the owner keeps stomping on the gas.
I personally blame Pennsylvania for all the coal burning energy plants. listen we got nuke plants. lets use them.
