I've been reading these forums for about 3 weeks now since I got my new GT. I just wanna say thanks to everyone for sharing info and oppinions on mods and accessories. This place is the reason I've already added some mods and have more waiting on a list to be purchased.

I have a 2008 GT/CS I picked up 3 weeks ago today. It had 15 miles on it (10 of which I put on it test driving) Its candy apple red with black and tan interior. So far I've added a GT hood scoop (the dealerhad installed which was part of the deal) 15% tint, side window deflectors, SCT X3 tuner with 87 performance, 93 torque and 93 race tunes from Bamachips, C&L CAI, Pypes O/R H pipe and MAC axleback mufflers.

I installed the exhaust sunday and the CAI and 87 performance tune yesterday. (Still have a 1/2 tank of gas to burn up before I can fill up on 93 and try out the race tune)

Sunday I ordered blackturn signallenses and clear rear side marker lenses with silver bulbs and web electrics sequential brake lights. They shipped monday so hope to get all that installed this week.

the color is absolutely beautiful... so is the interior!
you've got a great looking car, might i say.

however, i think you should think about lowering springs; they make the car look so much more aggressive stance. much better than the current 4x4 stance. [8D]

I also have the GT/CS and I love it. If you do add lowering springs, know that it will look great and you will pay in the comfort department and gain in the handling. Always a trade off.

By the way your car looks amazing, love that color.

Thanks for the compliments guys. New suspension and lowering is on my list of things to do. Anyone know of a good company I should look into? How much should I lower it, 1.5" maybe?

WOW! Beautiful color! I was going to get the red but I decided with black. I ordered mine a few weeks ago and should be here soon! BTW how is the 15% tint at night? I want to know for my own sake when I tint if it's ok at night to see. Also how do you like the MAC's axelback? I plan to do that too to get that deep muscle car sound and eventually do headers back!
