You have to be a member for 30 days before you qualify for the rebate.

Some of the literature on this says you must be a member for at least 60-days to qualify.

Yeah, they proabably changed it. I was hoping my 2005 GT would arrive early May, but now I have to wait till May 23rd before my 60-day membership kicks in. So, now I'm hoping it comes in later.... that's weird huh? Can't wait to get my hands on my new car, but then I want to wait until at least the 60-day membership is there so I can save 500-measly-bucks![:@]

Yep, it's 60-days now - I just printed out my certificate and it says "AQHA membership for at least 60-days" on there to quality for the $500 rebate. Now, remember, your dealer will tax that $500 because the rebate comes after the sale. You can take a check or apply it to your payments.

I talked to my salesman today - he has a GT, Premium, IUP, 5-speed, 1,000 shaker, silver with dark charcoal interior arriving on Thursday. He ordered this car on 2-6-2005 for another client. My car was ordered on 3-11-2005 so if 11-weeks does the trick I should see mine around May 27th. Hey, THAT's NEXT MONTH!

Red69Sportsroof... I see you are in San Diego, too. What dealer did you order yours from?

I ordered mine from Perry Ford (Poway) on 1-18-05, and it is due to arrive between 4-22 and 4-25 (13+ weeks). Hey... that's this weekend!! And it's about friggin time... I can hardly wait another day!

Mossy Ford in PB (a very large dealership). Your salesman should have already contacted you and informed you the arrival date. Have they called you yet?

Yes.... the said ETA is 4/22, but it could be a day or two late.
