Default The Spoiler Store GT500 Spoiler

It has been a while now since The Spoiler Store started selling the GT500 replica spoiler for $130 delivered. I would like to hear how they are holding up from those of youwho ordered them.

How is the finish holding up?
Any issue mounting with only the two bolts? Stable at high speeds?
How did you seal the remaining two holes?
Would you purchase this item again?

I am thinking about getting one. But I am also considering the more expensive factory GT500 spoiler with the 4 mounting bolts and having it painted.

Thoughts?

I've had mine about 3 months. No issues yet! I have the top down pretty often, and haven't heard any sqeaking noises so far.

I took 2 pennies and used some silicone to fill the extra 2 holes. Pretty weird, but have had no leaking issue. You can't see the pennies unless you have the trunk open, and it usually gets a laugh from everyone when they see it.

I've had mine for probably a year. No squeaking issues, however I did install it with four bolts. The paint is pretty good, however if you get bird crap on it it'll leave a spot. Clay bar will probably get most of it off, but it'll always leave a little "deglossed" spot, if you know whatI mean. My hood also does the same thing, but it was repainted after hitting Bambi.

I guess you could say that's your $0.02 on the subject!

No problems, no leaks and the 3m helps hold it very well. But, the paint job could have been better. It wasn't bad, per se, but I'm a bit **** about paint quality and matching. I knew when I bought it that my car would be destined for a paint job somewhere in the future as the stock paint is a little too thin anyway, imo. And, after a good waxing it looks very nice and I have to put my **** inspection glasses on to find flaw.

Please don't let my comment deter you from buying from them because, for the price, and the really decent paint, it's a pretty damn good deal and pthers have already posted no problems whatsoever.

Hope this helps

edit: I would purchase again, too.
