Personally I shy away from somebody elses tune. I realise it isn't always possible to get a decent custom tune from a reputable shop due to location, but I'd drive a long way to get one. Oh, actuallyIdid

Congrats! great numbers and regardless of the great A/F ratio....be careful if not forged....as you are pushing lots of HP/TQ (as you already know) and it only takes a bad hiccup and BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you know this but I feel compelled to tell all that have a Whipple or any FI for that mattter!!!!!!!!!!!! Love that Whipple....to think if I waited 5 more months I would have had a gen II[&:]! J


Edit....and yes you did drive a LONG way for the tune! But I was happy when I drove yours and this year you should try mine....you will really appreciate that suspension you have Marcus!!!!!!!!!! J

Brent sent me the tune via email and I had it dyno'd at my local shop, Mayhem Motorsports. Compared to the stock Whipple Tune, I netted 20 more HP and 15 more foot pounds of torque. I had Mayhem stick it on the dyno while it was up there getting some other TLC.

I'm running the 3.375 pulley which is putting out 12 psi. It is the stock pulley that comes with the Whipple HO kit.

WOW! great numbers. I was down there getting my saleen installed when they unloade the test whipple off the ups truck. Talked to Dave about it for a while and after spending some time in the shop, I new it would be a kick a** tune. I guess the only reason their not selling the whipple itself is they just cant profit off it(plus they've really made a name for themselves in the saleen dept.). You know once the word gets out that it WILL be the tune of choice for the whipple guys.

A safe 475rwhp on the stock block is an oxymoron IMO. Good to see that brenspeed is still making customers happy.

For what it's worth, my car showed 12.41 max boost on the first run and 11.76 for the second. It hit 10psi just before 3krpms and stayed above that past 6k. I'm not so sure about this second generation mumbo jumbo.

Any chance you are going to take it to a track? Am I the only whipple HO that's gone to the track on this forum?

nice numbers.
i havent gone to the track yet either, none around here. must ferry my car to a different island to run on the track so it is costly and a PITA. hopefully we will get a track soon. or i will ferry my car over to test it.
