Correction! My math is way off. if you want a 50/50 mix then naturally you'll need 6.8 qtrs of antifreeze assuming the haynes manual is correct with it's 13.6 qtrs to fill. So 4 quarts of antifreeze will give you a 70/30 mix of water/antifreeze. Just mutiply 13.6 by the % of water or antifreeze you want in your mix and then subtract from 13.6 to get the other number.

I way over thunk that one.

cartel, the Motorcraft Gold coolant is good for four years (long life)...I did pick up a gallon of it at Cavalier Ford in Chesapeake for topping off the overflow tank (hasn't needed it yet). Though I do my own oil/filter, air filter, and cabin air filter changes...when it comes to my coolant change (in about two and half years), I'll let the folks at Beach Ford do it for me...less mess and not that expensive.

I never knew you was a mathematician Moosestang. Might need to change the name too....Moose-Mathician-Stang....LOL

Yeah 1 entire gallon plus 2.8 quarts of coolant and the same with water for a 50/50 mix
