yeah, I'm back and whatever I did did not work. It's weird cause it didn't throw a CEL. Smelled like something was burning (can't be good). Back to stock! So annoying. I'm going to rip apart the intake and check for a crack or something. I mean how can I get the stock setup working fine every time when you have to plug in the same things! Never buying a used item again.

I would email Doug again. I had the same thing happen to me when I installed his 93 performance tune for my C&L. Got out of my driveway, went to give it some gas and it died on me. Luckily I was able to get it started again, after a few seconds of cranking. I ran into my house and got the tune I was using before Bama's and it worked fine. I emailed Doug and told him the problem and he sent me a new tune and it worked fine. I think the problem is he gave you a tune for the wrong C&L, they have two versions, you need to make sure you tell him exactly which one you have.

Yep, Race vs Street. They have different size MAF Tubes. So depending on which one you had you were either Very Rich or Very Lean.

Hope I didn't wreck my engine because of it.

Glad everything worked out, I would've been freakin' out if that would've happened to me. I have the C&L (Street) with a 93 octane tune from Evolution Performance. Never had a bit of trouble since day (knock on wood). Love the change throttle responseand performance and I'm sure you will to.

Glad to see that fixed it. One question though, with your Bama Tune, at start-up, does it idle high then go lower like the normal tune, or does it just start up and stay around 750 rpms?

I have a Bama tune, it goes right to 750rpms. This makes me not dread starting the car in the morning.
