I got ticket last night around midnight for loud exhaust.[:@] The cop said he pulled me over because he can hear my exhaust 3 blocks down. My XXX[sm=smiley35.gif], you were bored looking for a dui. The ticket says “Muffler loud excessive noise no muffler”. How can a car have no muffler have muffler loud excessive noise, and I do have mufflers, two. This really **** me off. At lest it only a $25. [sm=chairshot.gif]

I’ve had the exhaust on for 3 week. I love the way they sound so I don’t want to replace them. Is they any way of quitting down my MM. Any help would be appreciated.

Cop probably was bored. It's crazy what some folks will call loud. All I have for exhaust is stingers and my family swears its the loudest thing they ever heard.[sm=roll.gif]She's just purrin right now.Wait till I start rockin LTs and cut in an O/R prochamber. Sorry to hear that man, im nervous of the same thing!!!. I have the JBA longtubes, catted mid pipe and slp loudmouths and im sure you can hear it at least for three blocks. But im like you...I LOVE IT!!! Did you get an inspection ticket? Id be more afraid of it then the fine.

I also want to note that I was not racing around.my friend, with a stock 2006 GTO, and I where driving home for a bar and so didn't want attention and we saw that there were a lot of cop around. We were at the light just before highway, the cop was be hide my friend when the light turn green. Next thing I know he be hided me with his lights on.

That's total Bull$hit. Take a picture of your mufflers and go to court. Make an argument that it does have mufflers and get that ticket dropped. I say again, "do not pay the fu9king ticket. If you have too show them the mufflers in the parking lot. That's fu8king bull$hit.
