RE: 4:10'S INSTALLED!!
Is there any notable wear and tear on the engine/rear from having 4.10s? Raised rpms sound not so great for the engine and the extra winding of the gears dont' sound great for the rear. Anyone know?

No. Some cars (subaru Forester) come with 4.11:1 gears from the factory. Sure..average rpms are higher.. but the wear would not be noticed given proper maintenance.

just a suggestion to you folks wanting new gears...
when I did the new gears + posi... by the time It added up.. I woulda been better off just getting a 8.8 with a built in posi, and 4.10s from newtakeoff..

That just applies to v6 owners. The v8s come with the 8.8 and t-lok. Swapping the gears in a GT is a pretty quick operation.
