Most people who aren't car nuts cant tell the difference anyways. Chicks or not.
I don't talk to people who don't know the difference between a v6 and a v8. They are what's wrong with the world.

If gas mileage is a criteria for you I would not get a GT with the power it has it is real hard to keep my foot out of the pedal I can practicly see the gas gauge moving. But the fun is worth the cost of the gas for me.

Stick to a V-6
The GT is way too much car for your first car, unless you're a race car driver since childhood.
Don't listen to those who tell you to just buy a GT. A stock V-6 is a great deal for under $20K, they are ready for upgrading, adding accessories, etc.

you know better then that.. tell a young guy to get something slower so its better for them?? haha.. what would 99% of us do?? "IF" he can afford it and moeny is not too much of an issue.. why not. Just because your young doent mean you can respect something and drive it right.. we all no matter what age goof off once in a while.. If I had the moeny your damn right I would get the gt.. if I was not worry about bills or going over my head.. just like Jo jackson says " Just do It".. but find you better know what your getitng into.. car payment+ insurance+ gas a month. Thats allot at that age.. I cant even really afford it at 32.. but.... f it.. WOOOOOO GT.. I wish I had money and patients for the corbra... heheh

^How much is the corbra going to be and doesn't it come out 2006?

I'm almost 19 and I have never had any speeding tickets or any wrecks. And I have driven a 2005 Corvette at 140 MPH on a test track before and I did great so I think I could handle the power of a V8. I don't have to worry about insurance because I'm going to put it in my dads name, the only problem I have with that is I'm the one paying for the car.

I can speed up to $35,000!

Up to 35k....are you crazy....get the GT!!! This thread should end now, nuff said. Yes, they're powerful, but they're not a 500hp Viper or anything...a little common sense and you'll have no problems!

Hey Crazy man. First of all at 19 you are way too inexperienced of a driver for this type of car. I don't care if someone has been driving go-karts, sprint cars and farm tractors since they were 3 years old. There is more to driving on a street than going in circles at 140 mph. You would be setting yourself up for failure if you get a car like this as your first car.

Here is some great advice for you. Take the $35,000 that your Mom and Dad have given you and surprise the $$hit out of them. Tell them that you put it into a Mutual Fund and your saving it for retirement. After they pick themselves up from the floor. They will give you more money to go to college because you just showed them how smart you really are. Buy a 10 speed bicycle for about $100.00 to ride around campus. When your about 55 yrs old tell your parents how much that $35,000 is worth.

Pass on the Mustang and put the money where it should go!!

Get a GT. Don't let these 6 cyl guys convince you to go otherwise.

That's what I am waiting for, Torch Red Premium GT, 5-speed, IUP, 17" rims, security
Can't wait... probably late May delivery.
