Default Installed Light Bar - Car won't start

Car worked great this morning.

Spent the last 3 hours installing a CDC light bar. The light bar looks and works great.

But now for some reason the darn car won't start and I get a DTE FLI DATA ERR on the dash. My search reveals that this stands for Distance To Empty Fuel Level Indicator. I have no idea what this means.

My only conclusion is that the wiring for the light bar is faulty.

Anyone lend a hand?

Pics of how and where the wiring connects to the Stang?
I can diagnose but only if you let me in on the installation
process and what exactly was done electrical wise.

Maybe reset by unplugging your battery, maybe it will reset something... maybe you crossed some wires somewhere and it tripped the computer...

Thanks guys... I just unplugged the battery for 30 seconds. The car started for a few seconds and then shut down, almost like it was genuinely out of gas (no chance of it really being out of gas).

Regarding the wiring, I followed the wiring directions supplied with the unit. There's a chance that wires were crossed accidentally along the way. Could that have blown a fuse or killed anything operationally?

I was thinking fuse before, but it never hurts to give them a check... the new fuses turn black on the top I think... dont know haven't blown too many in a long, long time... just give it a check... and maybe re-load your tune it might reset the ECU somehow some way... just throwing things out there man, hopefully someone with more experience can shine some light on the subject...

The only two wire connections are to the white w/ purple stripe wire behind thepassenger rear speaker and to the tan w/ light blue stripe wire in assembly hanging in the trunk.

No fuses appear to be broken.

I have the battery unplugged now and will give it a full 20 minutes to reset.

I tried looking up the reset button for fuel cut off, no clear answers but one thread said it was in the trunk and one said it was near the drivers leg... so maybe the manual has it in there or someone else can chime in... just tryin to help....
