I am almost done with mods. Did I spend to much? Yes..17k Overkill? Yes...need to make changes?? Yeslet me explain real quick. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with a rare cancer....bone marrow. Iv'e always wanted an awesome ride. So I bought the 06 GT. on good days I work on my Stang. Bad days i reserch and buy mods. I installed everything but the supercharger & exhaust..........lowering springs struts heavy duty strut mounts & LCA (Steeda)
wheel Spacers (Mustang Wheels) gauges & pods (auto Meter & CDC) sequential taillights (CDC) Rocker Panel decals Underhood dress up & the stuff on my SIG. Got my awesome Ride!! handeling is unreal.....speed is unreal......So here are some pics. Give me some imput....Good,bad.....changes to be concidered. My back seat delete was already posted (Bad color choice) you guys hammered me!! Any more exterior mods?? Your imput needed.

1st off. I f your mods make you happy. That is ALL that counts!!!!
Depends on what you are going to do with the car. If just for fun driving, what about the push button start-it's cool. Line locks, cool smokey burn outs. chin spoiler.
The list is really endless.
Good luck with your illness. Hope you fell better soon.

what radiator cover is that? mine looks just like that but when i try to close the hood i cant just drop it like i used to. i have to physically push it down onces it already as low as it can go

I say he should keep the side stripes if he likes 'em. Upon first glance my opinion of them does not make the car appear to be a v6. Cars are shipped from the factory all the time with or without stripes.

I think your car looks very nice and, just like the rest of us here, it's a continuous works in progress.:D

yeah the rad cover may have been a bad choice..really don't want to go back to the stock setup though....line locks??? TIRES 250.00 a pop

cancer survivor here, anytime u want to talk?..i know about good and bad days, chemo, radiation still kickin my a$$ 15 months later. when your faced with an unknown future u live for the day...my gift to myself was an 08GT that i bought 3 months ago, your car looks awsome!!!!!!!

Somebody said it before...your car , your choice, i have a good friend that had bone cancer in his leg, made it through it and 3 months later was diagnosed with cancer in his chest. He's doing better but i know all about good and bad days. Keep your chin up. Nice car by the way.

sorry to hear about your illness and hope that you recover soon. If it were my car I would put a new hood on it and rear spoiler. I have a roush spoiler but I think a GT500 spoiler would look great on your car. For hoods, I really like the Trufiber GTS 3. If you want to go all out, do a GT500 conversion on the front end with the Trufiber Venom hood. I'd love to see it in red:D

Car looks great man....Ever think about adding some body mods like a hood,bumpers or side skirts? And I would definitely get either clear turn signals or blacked out ones

vf - so are you having the same problems with thehood closing as i am? i need to get hood struts that hood prop doesn't even have something to hold itdown onmy radiator cover

The rad cover looks very good. Where did you get it? I think the car looks great. Only thing I would change is the rocker stripe. If you like the look I think black would look better.

i am putting a set of 3:73s in and an aluminum one piece drive shaft..........reserching the drive shaft though....not sure if it's a good choice

have a steeda camber kit.......that install is a winter project...lots of strut bolt hole grinding out

That rad cover is hot, it ties your S/C and your billet caps together nicely. Chrome strut tower covers, billet fuse box cover, and some polished hood struts for engine bay would look cool, I don't think you had them yet.

Edit: You went with the painted fuse box cover (I had to look twice) You could also get a Strut tower brace??? I'm not sure what they are called? Red or chrome.....your choice. They go over your S/C and attach at your strut towers.

siberian.........steeda hood strut kit easy install, no drilling use existing bolts......had to do some grinding on the manual hood relase then it closed good

Your car looks great. Do what you want and like it's yours to enjoy. I wouldn't worry about the 17k you spent some people spent over that just to say they have a GT500. Remember life is not a dress rehearsal we only go around once, enjoy it and Good Luck.

Looks real good to me, some awesome mods you've done. I too know all about the good and bad days, been living with a terminal illness for 18 years now. Can't be too terminal then, huh? lol. Good luck beating your cancer and congrats on your car. I love mine too.
