Can you replace the throttle body motor?
I was messing with my car over the weekend and a wire touched the TB and now the motor is ticking when I turn the key to the on pos.but dont start. Now when I try to start the car I get nothing at all, doesnt even try to start.I was wondering if I have to buy a whole new TB or can I buy just the motor.I took the motor off and a spring popped out.I can twist the spring back in position, but I cant put the cover back on with the motor. Is there a tool I need if I can replace the motor.

Sorry, I can't help you with the reassembly of the TB part. However, is it possible that by touching the wire to the TB you shorted something? Did you take a look at your fuses?

yea all the fuses look good. The ticking from the motor is really loud so I dont think its turning the gears, and the ticking noise is probably the motor trying but cant because I grounded it out and now the motor is really weak.I just cant find anybody that sells them

Your best bet would probably be to go and talk to your dealership. Tell them your situation and maybe they can help you out. I hate to say it but if something needs replacement you may need a whole new TB.
