Default Hood Prop Stop Question

I have browsed the threads, and even done a search, and cannot find the answer to this question:

[ul][*]Where can I purchase a replacement hood prop stop for my 06 Mustang GT?[/ul]
When I bought my car a few months ago, the hood prop stop was missing, and the dealership claimed that they were going to send me another one. Surprise surprise - they haven't! Does anyone know where I can find one online?

Hook it up!!!

are you just talking about the rod? Either way you should get some hood struts so don't have to worry about the prop

Make the Stealership do the right thing...either that or go to the parts counter, can't imagine that being more that 5 bucks.

No...because I don't have one...but I can describe its location for you!

Imagine your hood is propped up - now get ready to put the hood back down again - the place that you put your hood prop down on to right before you close your hood - that's what I need.

If it was a local dealership I would, but I bought my Stang out of state. I would prefer to purchase it online, because then I might be able to get a better looking one, don't you think?

I might go the hood strut route eventually, but I have a list of other mods to perform first.

The hood prop 'stop' is built into the radiator cover... did your plastic catch break off the cover? Dealership would have to replace the radiator cover. Ditch the hood prop anyway and get some hood struts.

AHHHH!!! I see...I don't have a radiator cover, the original owner removed it when the Cervinis kit was installed. Finally it's making sense!
