Default 2007 Mustang Power Windows

Ok,

I just got my carback from the shop where it was sitting for about a month. The drivers side window no longer goes fully up. It goes up hits the top goes almost fully down.

I made sure there is nothing in the way of the window.

I did the hold up for 2 seconds and down for 2 seconds no luck.

I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes tried holding it up but it doesn't work.

The window will go fully up once in a while but if I open my door and close it the window shoots right back down.

Any help!!!! Thanks in advance.

That happened to me a few times over the winter qhen the car sat and I first started it up after charging a while. Window wouldn't go all the way up with door open. But when I closed door and sat in finally came all the way up. Give a try to the window program thing in the manual. I doubt thats it, but give it a try. Sit in the car while on and hold that button up.

where your mirrors taken off or where the doors worked on

When I installed the agent 47 mirrors on mine i tightened them a little to much so sometimes when the windows roll up the pressure will cause them to roll down about half way, usually after i try to close them the next time they go up fine

Thanks for the suggestions but I found my answer in another thread. I had to disconnect the battery while the window was rolling down to de-initalize it. Took a few tries but I got the battery disconnected with the window on the way down with the door open.

Then I was able to do the, hold up for 2 seconds then down down for 2 seconds. I had to press up 3 more times until it stayed fully up. Went up and down several times no problems.
