If the stock tune is in the SCT and the custom tune is in the long gone
Mustang, the SCT isLOCKED to that particular Mustangs VIN where ever it is.
The tuner should stay with the stang once its married to it.
Why did you give it a D-I-V-O-R-C-E?
Were the rings exchanged back or was it on bad terms?
If its unlocked, its worth $$. If its locked, good luck getting $5 for it
or getting SCT to unlock as it would defeat the whole locking purpose of
selling more SCTs. One SCT tuner per Stang VINand notone drop more.
There isn't a way to reset it?

It's $150 at SCT to "unlock" it. Why would you leave the custom tune on there?

Once you unlock it I will give you more than $5

Did you sell your car privately or trade it in at the dealership? Good luck getting ahold of a willing new owner to go back to the slower stock tune lol

Give it to the person you sold the mustang to. Getting it unlocked is going to cost more than you can sell it for. You might get $200 for it if it's unlocked, maybe.

You can't afford a chip for you new BMW?

ya, i hope you atleast explained that the tune can not be tampered with by ford... especially if it was still under warranty. Do the right thing and give it to the new owner (if possible).

What are you going to use then if you tune gets mest up in your car? How you going to re-tune it?

I don't own the car anymore.
Why did you sell it? What kinda car did you buy or are you going to buy?

I loved the mustang but I'm over the loud, uncomfortable, poor handling mustang. Plus Iwas sick of the manual as well.
I bought a 08 BMW 335i fully loaded. Now I need money for a chip and intake
How dare you speak of mustangs like that. You obviously arent a manly man. jk jk
I like the 5 series a little better but of course those are even more[]

I traded in the Mustang in the day I bought the mustang. I didn't have the patience to sell it myself. I also didn't have the tuner with me to give to them. I didn't even mention it had been heavily modified as I was worried the would give me less money for it.

I am very cheap right now and am trying not to spend any money but it seems I won't get much money out of the tuner so oh well. I'll just give in and get the chip and intake. $600 for an extra 50 rwhp. It plugs right in about10 seconds, check it out... http://store.bimmerperformancestore....unt2=356498360
