I’m in Maryland I can vouch for speed unlimited it’s a real brick and mortar they have been around for years. I have got several part form them over the years. One for the few major speed shops we have around here.

MeanStang08 - How far in are your stops? Just trying to get a rough starting point.
Also did you have to install it without the rubber boot and then find the stop location you want. Then remove it to be able to get the boot back on? Or could you get the boot on after adjusting the stops with the shifter still installed?

Just pull that rubber boot completely off, i installed it without the rubber boot installed.. much, much easier.. and that rubber boot took all of 20 seconds to fit back in, justmake sure you push it down below thebody metal and then pull it back up carefully and the seal will "pop" perfectly..

Thanks. I assumed (we all know where that gets you) that the stops were what gave it a shorter throw. So even without the stops it still has a short throw?

yes, it's a shorter throw because of the length and location of the linkage armand the stem, the stops are just for "over-travel" so you don't damage your tranny by banging the gears too hard... which, the current transmission has built in already.
