launching RPM's

RE: launching RPM's
Practice at the track and find what fits you best. It will be somewhere between 1500 and 3000 RPM's, but altitude, track temp, ambient temp, track prep, tire compound, and tire PSI will all play a factor in it.

Launching is an art from what I've learned so far based mostly on reading around here. Most people say not to just drop the clutch. You want to find what works best for you as far as how high you rev it up and how fast you let out the clutch.

i think this can't really be answered unless we know what kind of tire you are using and if it's going to be at the track or on the street. track you can lower the air in your tires but obviously you're not going to be able to go riding around the street like that.

If you are going to use Drag Radials at the track you need to try launching above 4000rpm's (I use MT's drag Radials at 14.5 PSI and I launch at 4300rpm's) my best ET is 12.994 at 104.75mph. But you will have to find what works best for you at your track. I also have a 93 Tune and you can see my mods on my sig.
