I got my brenspeed tune today, and its setup for an air-raid intake. Apparantly they set it up so that the insert had to be kept in. I took it out because I assumed they would have programmed the tune for the insert to be removed.

I uploaded the tune, and it ran rough. So, I put the car back to stock, and put the insert in, started it...ran fine. So, I uploaded the 93 octane tune again, and when asked "enter optional parameters", I selected no. This is where it gets strange.

It then asks me if I want to keep previous options, or something along those lines, and gives me the option to say "yes" or "no".

I looked at the tutorial, and this step wasnt in there. In the tutorial, it only asks you if you wanted to enter optional parameters, and then goes straight to the upload portion.

Am I supposed to answer yes or no to this second question, and should I be getting asked it in the first place?

It is not strange. My Xcal2 asks the sames two questions. I answer no to both. I don't want to mess up with programs. If you load stock back, then it doesn't ask you.
