Saleen short throw feel?
Got my Saleen block in, installed it, and I must say its quite notchy. When I shift into gears i feel two clicks. The top gears (1,3,5) seem to have about 1 1/2" - 2" throw, and the bottom gears (2,4,r) seem to have about 3/4" - 1" throw. I tightened the nut on the stud pretty far, then backed it off, applied blue loctite, then tightened it until it hit the bushing. I tightened the top bolt until it was snug, but i did not torque it on, and i used red loctite on that. I dont mind the notchiness and am sure it will loosen up a bit, but I just want to make sure it isnt hurting my tranny. I drove it around a bit, took it on the interstate, did a fast 2-3 shift and the gears fully engaged. I also put it in fourth and let it hit pretty low rpms and it had enough power to speed up, so i know it was fully in gear then.
Its been awhile since i felt a short throw, years even, so I just want to make sure its ok. I get my steeda bushings in tomorrow or friday, so I will be back under the car sunday and will check things out, maybe make an adjustment..loosen it up some.
Just wanted some feedback... thanks!

Sounds like you need to back off that nut some more. I think that is the purpose of the locktite...It's going to be notchy whatever you do, does work itself out some and you get used to it, but it still is alot better than the stock setup. The MGW is definitely going to be my next mod for sure!
