270RWHP with my cams, oh yeah it's a 6.

How do you guys think they made power before FI became so cheap? So I got 80 hP to the wheels, it's worth it IMO

LOL. Yeah, I get more folks walking over to hear the car at gas stations.

The biggest issue with cams right now is the installation cost. The NSR versions that are coming out now will still set youback with a $500 labor charge, and cams with springs/retainers will easily cost $1000 to install (as mine did). Everyone gave me a hard time given the expense, but I'm well on my way to joining a very short list of folks hovering at or below 12.00 with a NA car. I've been working out a clutch problem, and once that was fixed, started working through tuning the rearsuspension. This NA car bites down hard. Check out this pic and you can see the car twist and nearly raise the driver's front tire off the ground, and the passenger rear tire getting trounced. And that was at 18psi in those tires:

Cams alone don't give you a whole lot out of the box. Just depends what you want out of the car. Find someone that knows how to tune the 4.6 with aftermarket cars and you'll have a handful to play with on the street or track. You CAN get torque: this is last week's carnage on theright rear lower control arm relocation bracket. The car almost stopped dead it bit so hard:

If you got the bucks, the necessary bolt-ons, and someone that knows there way around a custom tune, you will NOT be dissatisfied.

Yep, and their steel retainers. That video was made when I had BBK shorties and a Bassani catted x-pipe with Mac mufflers. I recently swapped those out to JBA longtubes and o/r x-pipe and kept the Mac. Still aggressive but....different--an NO drone! At the last track outing everyone was asking about the exhaust combo. I now get some trumpeting when you first get on it but it's livable.
