I have an 08 gt and It looks like I already have some type of felt on the inside of the stripping...
Here is what 08s have:
8r3z-6321457-a Moleskin

TacoBill's moleskin installation write-up stated that he had to remove the fuzzy velcro strip before installing the new moleskin on the weatherstrip channel. Mine didn't have it at all. It was just bare rubber. I did have to scuff it up with sandpaper before sticking the new stuff on.

Your right it was fixed for the 08+! They do not have the crap they had in the 05-07 (took 2 yrs complaining)....[:@]
