Default Is my Ford dealer correct on 25% HP increase?

My local Ford dealership is quick to claim they can increase the horsepower by 25% in my 2007 GT simply by installing Ford Racing axle-back mufflers and a Roush cold air intake only(without any computer mods) for a total cost of about $1200. Is this too good to be true? Also, how easy are the Ford Racingmufflers to install myself, and will I do anything to affect the factory warranty if I do the work myself? (I read somewhere that only a Ford authorized dealer can install the muffers without affecting the warranty). Any advice is much appreciated.

I doubt you will se an increase of 10% without a tune. I installed my axlebacks by myself, all you need is a torque wrench and a socket wrench and a couple of hours if you are slow. The intake will take like 20 minutes to install with a screwdriver, a torx driver, and a socket wrench.

They probably meant 25 HP not 25% increase. 25% of 300HP would be 75HP... no way is that going to happen with just cold air and exhaust. If they said 25% increase find a new dealer.

That's an increase of 75 horses.

You know why they're called Stealerships don't you?

Sorry, I meant to write an increase of 25 horsepower, not 25%. Still, is an increas of r25 HP with only a Ford Racing exhaust and Roush intake, without tuning reasobale to expect? Thanks
