I'm guessing that I was told wrong my your reaction. I was told that you couldn't just disconnect the air bag for the seats. I don't have any idea so don't shoot the messenger.

I havent seen it for the S197, but I know in the Fox cars you could run the belts to the rear seat anchor points. My friend had a 4 point belt set up that way.

I hate the stock mustang seats. Eventually I am going to go with some Corbeau's. Black leather exterior, with silver microsuede center. I will just use the stock belts with it though. Have to be able to fit kids in the back.

Some day I will do a roll bar and mount them to that.

You gotta mount the belts to certain points.. you cant just bolt them down anywhere.. otherwise it defeats the purpose of the belt and could actually become MORE dangerous..

Theres lots of info on google about racing seat mounting points and what NOT to do..
(thats your job... lol.. I just have to lead you to the right path..)

I have never put racing seats in my car, so I can't tell you how to do it, sorry, but I do know you should do a bit of research before just bolting them down on "some solid location.."

good luck.
