I want to purchase an aluminum shift boot bezel. Ford sells one, but the best price I could findis $146.

Blue Oval industries also sells one for $20. I wonder how the quality and finish of this piece compares to the rest of the Mustang OEM aluminum interior parts or for that matter, the Ford one for $146? Anybody bought one of these?

The Scott Drake shifter bezel is terrible quality. It comes with cheap tape that doesn't stick and is very thin and flimsy. It also doesn't sit flush. I recommend the SilverHorse Racing bezel. It sits completely flush and is leaps and bounds above the SD part quality-wise.

The parts manager for a dealership out in California is the official parts guy for another stang site with the initials T M S

When these first came out on the 07s and were available they were like $200

After while, he was able to offer them at $100 and I snapped one up

I believe a little while after that they went back up tp $140/$150??

You can find his contact info over on the other site if you are interested - he is a great guy and really easy to deal with.

I used to have the Scott Drake bezel, and never had an issue with it sticking completely to the shift boot....But, I got a great deal on E Bay for the Ford bezel and boot...picked it up for 45 bucks shipped......

BUT, be aware that expensive Ford bezel is not aluminum. It is plastic. They call it "aluminum look....."
