that's a great gift. my dad is in his 70's and drives a 96 Tbird w/ 4.6 and he likes it a lot. he rides in my SC'd GT all the time and i ask him if he wants to drive it but he hasnt yet. i think a SC'd stang will be a little too much for someone in that category. i say get the GT and you can spend plenty of quality time with your dad modding it w/ bolt ons or cruising around in it, and that would be the real gift: spending time w/ your father. the GT is plenty fast enough.

Got to go with the flow. With respect to your dad, 75 is getting up there and 500hp is too much. Really it's bordering on irresponsible.
Mustang's aren't the most comfortable ride out there either, I'm sure he'd be as happy withsomething more atuned to his seniority....

Even if you got him a 6er he would be ecstatic.....a Black one with the white side stripe that says MUSTANG is a really sharp looking car. I think any supercharged version, would be wasted money. You obviously love your Dad, he might get into trouble with a superchaged Stang....JMO

My neighbor let me drive his 520hp s/c gto, it was my first time driving a s/c car or a car with over 350 hp. I had my gt at the time and i figured id drive it like my gt.. i stomp on it in 2nd... traction does NOT exist. He has stock tires, that could be the reason, but IMO, 500hp is alot to handle.

My neighbor on the right's name is dave, he has a red 2006 pontiac gto with a magnasum supercharger and full exhaust. My neighbor infront of me's name is landon, he had a 06 s/c saleen, which he traded in for a saleen truck, which he traded in for a PJ saleen. My neighbor on the rights name is also dave and he has an avalanche. Would you like me to PM you a map?
I'm not sure I'd want to publish a map of my area butI could try to grab a few webcam shots for you?
