i ran octane booster in my car to see if it was noticeable, and it WAS.....completely burnt my plugs! i had to "confess" my sins to the stealership because they asked me what type of gas i used and if i put in any additives.....for a stock gt , 87 is recommended and nothing but ford gas treatments at certain intervals..so, i ponied up the cash and learned my lesson....however, i was running a 93 tune when i put the octane booster in......about the race gas, like everyone says, seems a little pointless(unless you are at a track and actually need it...my only experience with race gas is with my lawn mower.......i have a 25 hp 72" deck super Z made by Hustler(not the mag) and it holds 12 gallons.....i put 6 gallons of straight 115 race gass in one tank and 87 in the other......remember, i live in south georgia..lol the only thing that i noticed was the race gas lasted forever. i was able to cut 16 acres(my front yard) without using the whole tank....the best i ever got with 87 was 1 1/2 tanks to do the same thing....main point, it didn't do anything to the lawn mower...thankfully, because it costs me 7k
