defiance

so i go to use my left turn signal and it starts ticking like crazy, so i say ok bulb is out. Look at my car (its night time) and all the tail lights and ront lights are good, turn lift siganl on and the last tail light is not flashing, but its on, so what gives? please help me guys i want to get it fixed!

Tail Lights have two filaments in them.
One for the blinker and one for the lights.
The system is set up so a change inelectrical load will cause the blinker to blink at a rapid rate to let the driver know that a bulb is out.
Sometimes the bulb may look like it is working but the resistance has changed enough that the system will see it as a burned out bulb.
