Default Dropped in the carbon Steeda CAI this weekend...

ITs the first thing I have done besides a Hurst shifter. Looks pretty cool, and man can I hear that thing howl with the top down on the car!!! Only thing I dont like is the fitting of the heat shield, as you can see, it rubs jsut a bit against the box right at the front of the car

I love the CF Elbow. Looks nice. But your Stteda shield looks different than mine and mine also has a STEEDA sticker on it...

It came with a sticker for me to add to it, but it found its way onto my tool box instead... :-) I'll have to dig up some pics of others shields and compare them, as mine doesnt exactly fit perfectly, it is rubbing a bit onthe distribution box in the front but not really hard so it shouldnt cause any problems....they also had a supplemental intruction and mounting bracket that looks like was added in recently...

Booz, elbow looks good in there ;-)...

ya i got the cf eblow as well and it looks awesome....

there has been talk about the cf elbows becoming deformed after a while, but then it was determined that the deformity was a result of over-tightening the clamp so make sure you havent over-tightened....

i havent had any problems with mine and have had it a few months now...

Yeah Booze, I like hte fact yours has deleted the goofy *** plastic crap that connects to the pvc valve or whatever the thing is that connects to the elbow. I cant beleive Steeda couldnt come up with something better than a 2 inch section of garden hose and some hose clamps for a 200 dollar elbow???!!! LOL Even my wife says "That stupid piece of hose has to go....why didnt they give you steel braid or something cool??" LOLOLOL So I will be replacing that plastic elbow soon I hope, as if the wife doesnt like it that is practically a green light to replace!!![8D]
