Rear window louvers?

RE: Rear window louvers?
When I installed my Astra Hammond rear window louvers I did it for the look. I'm starting to realize, though, that these things really work.
It keeps the car much cooler, reduces glare and makes it difficult for others to see inside with no negative impact on rear visibility. If I had known all the benefits, then I would have installed them sooner.

people don't realise that racing stripes were also originally for reducing glare (they were flat black originally, like the black stuff football players put under their eyes)

I very rarely venture out of the 5.0 section on the site, but I saw 2 different S197 stangs this weekend, and they really caught my eye. One was a dark blue Gt with black trim/striping, and one was that grey/silver color (i don't know the exact name), but both of them had black rear window louvers, and they looked sick. I was wondering if anyone knew if that is a factory option, or are there just 2 random people in my town who bought window louvers. Either way, my heart is with my fox, but these cars look a lot like the old school muscle build. I wouldn't mind buying one in the future.

Secondly, the rear window louvers are just one little option we have to personalize our cars. Hopefully you'll get one so you can add your own touches to the car and share it with us~!
stick around, you'll like us....
