Thanks. Honestly, if it was me, on a black car, I would go with the polished finish. Not that the black pins would look bad, but the finish on the hood pin caps is far enough off from the black paint I'm afraid, for it to just look a bit off. Even being separated from my stipe a bit, I can see the difference in finish....JMO......I have never seen a good pic of a black Pony with the black pins....

Thats what I'm afraid of too. The black is not exact, but I'm trying to decide if it will look good. It will definately look different, which is a big plus IMO.

Ill have to agree with getting a quality product. I got the shelby ones as well. Its a dark pic but it works.

I have the black shelby ones but I also got them powder coated to match the rest of my black paint exactly on the car. also my pins and rings are black too.

why did you put your pins right there?? just curious why you wouldnt put them in the same place as the kr does with the same hood?
